Here is my weekly Lost Metal Classic. Each week I will post a song from my high school years that somehow brought me comfort despite the quality of the music.
While I was in high school I think I spent all of the money I made at Laporte's Gardens [where I worked in Ottawa] on music. I think it had something to do with the fact that I spent an extraordinary amount of time watching MuchMusic. I have about 300+ tapes in storage that I have decided to selectively share with the world via my website.
Here's this weeks selection:
Band: Dio
Album: Holy Diver
Release Year: 1983
Label: Warner Brothers
Spotlight Track: Holy Diver Track 2 [ MP3]
Fast Fact: In late 1982 Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice formed a band that was not meant to be a solo project but a band as a whole.
